Chris Mitchell, owner of LATITUDE 45 CATERING, has 28 years experience working in the catering and restaurant industries. Born and raised on the South Island of New Zealand Chris imparts the same love of all things fun and fresh that the Kiwi’s have on his approach to food and catering. He has surrounded himself with a team of like-minded professionals at Latitude 45. They understand the rigors of the road but have a sincere appreciation for the magic of the kitchen and the camaraderie that comes from sharing a good meal with friends.  Chris and his staff pride themselves on being the cornerstone of health and well-being for your production as well as an integral part of the show.

Speaking of the staff… from Wesley’s Famous Brownies to Jeremy’s Asian Sake Ribs to Steve’s love of all things Italian, the Latitude 45 staff is skilled in a variety of cooking styles.  We cater to any specific dietary preferences including vegetarian, vegan, macrobiotic, kosher and much more. Specializing in fresh, modern food prepared using the finest ingredients available, we always endeavor to use local fresh fare in the menu options.

As well as the ever changing daily menu options, crews will also have access to a full salad bar and full drinks station, including an espresso machine and juicer.  Touring consists of long hours and stressful work so we’re here to make sure that everyone’s personal needs are taken care of; eating properly and staying nourished and healthy in order to deal with demanding schedules.

The Latitude 45 Catering staff have cooked everywhere from aircraft carriers to cemeteries at midnight to loading docks in the middle of a New York snow storm. Our crews exemplify the level of hard work, eagerness and optimism Latitude 45 was built on and accept challenges as part of the daily rigors of the road.
